HOW CAN CHRISTIANS RESPOND TO THE WAR IN GAZA?

Christians have the opportunity to demonstrate the love of Jesus to both Palestinians and Israelis.

But how?

  • We must reject the notion that the war in Gaza is a result of a spiritual conflict.
  • We can embody love and compassion and stand in solidarity with the oppressed
  • We can listen to both sides with compassion to understand their experiences.
  • We can speak out against all forms of injustice, including the Israeli occupation and antisemitism.
  • We can condemn all forms of violence, including structural violence.
  • We can demand a ceasefire and facilitate aid for more than 2 million people in Gaza.
  • We can intercede for our Christian brothers and sisters taking shelter at the churches in Gaza.
  • We can extend our support to Christians in both Palestine and Israel.
  • We can praise God for fulfilling His promises in Jesus Christ for both the Jewish and Palestinian people.
