This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We do not sell, rent, trade, or exchange your personal information with anyone.

Information you give us directly. When you subscribe to our newsletter, make a donation, register for an event, or complete a form, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and any message you choose to send us. Our newsletter signup form is a Mailchimp form embedded on our homepage. If you use the “Contact Us” link on our site, you will be directed to faresabraham.com/connect, which is a separate website with its own privacy practices.

Donation information. Donations are processed by Pushpay, a third-party payment provider. Levant Ministries receives your name, contact details, mailing address, donation amount, date, and designation. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Pushpay handles card data under its own privacy policy and security standards.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records certain technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, and the site you arrived from. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies for site functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

We use the following services, each of which may process some of your information under its own privacy policy:

Google Analytics — website usage statistics
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measuring the performance of our social media content and advertising
Mailchimp — sending and managing our email communications, including our newsletter signup form
Pushpay — processing donations
Cloudflare — website security and performance
IP2Location — approximate visitor location from IP address

We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own marketing purposes beyond what their standard terms allow.

We use your information to:

Send you newsletters, ministry updates, and prayer requests you have asked to receive
Process your donation, issue your receipt, and provide the tax documentation you need
Maintain accurate records of donations, including for legal and accounting purposes
Respond to your questions and messages
Register you for events and communicate about them
Understand how our website and communications are performing so we can improve them

We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the ministry, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

We share your information only in these circumstances:

Service providers. The organizations listed above, and only as needed to provide their service to us.

Legal requirements. Where we are required to by law, court order, or a governmental authority, or to protect the safety and rights of others.

With your permission. In any other case, only if you have asked us to.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with other ministries, churches, or organizations for their own use.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every message, or by contacting us directly. We will act on your request promptly.

The WhatsApp number listed on our site is for you to contact us; we do not use it to send unsolicited messages.

We keep donation records for seven years, in line with U.S. tax and accounting requirements. We keep email subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

You may at any time:

Unsubscribe from our emails
Ask us what personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct information that is wrong
Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep

To make any of these requests, contact us using the information above. We will respond within a reasonable period.

We have a small number of supporters and subscribers based in the EU and UK, so the following applies to you.

Our legal basis for processing your information. We process your information based on: your consent, when you sign up for our newsletter or communications; the performance of a transaction, when you make a donation; and our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate ministry and donor records and communicating with our supporters.

Your rights. In addition to the choices listed above, you have the right to request a portable copy of your information, object to or restrict how we process it, and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.

Where your information is processed. Levant Ministries is based in the United States, and your information is processed there. We take reasonable steps to protect it, consistent with applicable data protection law, when it is transferred outside the EU or UK.

Complaints. If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you may contact us directly, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect and the right to request deletion. Contact us using the information above to exercise these rights.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure third-party providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our responsibility for your information seriously.

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. If a minor wishes to register for a conference or program through our website, that registration is reviewed by a parent, guardian, or staff member before it is processed.

Levant’s field teams work directly with teenagers as part of ministry programs in the Middle East. That work happens through in-person relationships and program participation, not through this website, and is not covered by this section.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information directly through this site without appropriate review, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website contains links to other sites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Levant Ministries is based in the United States, and information collected through this website is processed here. If you are visiting from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

This policy covers information collected through this website. Our field teams in the Middle East may separately collect contact information directly from the people they serve — for example, someone sharing their phone number to stay in touch, or to participate in a program. That information is held locally by the relevant team and is not otherwise collected, transferred, or processed by this website.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the date at the top. We encourage you to review it periodically.
